Senna: teaser reveals first scenes of the miniseries promises to revive epic moments of the pilots’s career
The first teaser of the highly anticipated Brazilian miniseries “Senna,” set to be released by Netflix in 2024, produced by Gullane in partnership with Senna Brands and the pilot’s family, promises to move and captivate the audience by reviving historical moments of the three-time Formula 1 champion’s career.
The narrative recreates historic quotes by Galvão Bueno and Ayrton Senna’s victory cry at Interlagos in 1991, transporting viewers to one of the most remarkable moments in Formula 1 history. With general direction by Vicente Amorim and Julia Rezende, and featuring a star-studded cast including Gabriel Leone as Ayrton, Pâmela Tomé as Xuxa, Kaya Scodelario as journalist Laura, Steven Mackintosh as Frank Williams, and Gabriel Louchard as Galvão Bueno, the series promises to be a true hit.
The cast also includes actors Alice Wegmann (Lilian, Ayrton’s first wife), Camila Mardila (Vivianne Senna, his sister), Christian Malheiros (Maurinho, the driver’s friend), Hugo Bonemer (Nelson Piquet), Julia Foti (Adriane Galisteu), Marco Ricca (Maurao, Ayrton’s father), and Susana Ribeiro (Zaza, Ayrton’s mother). “Senna” will explore not only the moments of glory on the track but also the personal challenges faced by Ayrton Senna throughout his life. the series will have six thrilling episodes, the story begins at the start of his career in England, competing in Formula Ford, and spans various moments of his life, up to the tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.
