Taboo

Aurora (Laura Soveral) is a temperamental elderly woman who shares her apartment in Lisbon with her Cape Verdean maid and a neighbor dedicated to social causes. When Aurora dies, the other two come to know a hidden episode from her past. A story of love and crime lived in an adventurous Africa, which also tells the story of the beginning of the end of Portugal’s empire on the African continent.
