The Debut
This documentary film talks about the 1984 NBA Draft when Oscar Schmidt was selected for the New Jersey Nets but was unable to play due to the simultaneous commitment to the Brazilian national basketball team according to the international rules at the time. The story follows the consequences of Oscar’s choice, his glorious career in the Brazilian National Team and the honors he received this year at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game, when he finally got his big debut.
